About Rockhampton Eye Centre

Rockhampton Eye Centre is a general ophthalmic practice offering comprehensive eye care for Rockhampton and regional Central Queensland.

The Clinic is based in the Mater Medical Centre building at the Mater Hospital Rockhampton. Access is via Jessie Street and parking is available on Jessie Street and surrounding streets. Surgery is performed onsite at the Mater Hospital Rockhampton.

The Clinic is equipped with the latest state of the art diagnostic equipment and our clinical staff consists of both clinical optometrists and clinical nurses.

A referral from your GP or optometrist is preferred but not essential. The referral is required for you to receive the Medicare rebate that covers part of the cost of your visit.
